CULTURAL COMPLEX "CAN GRUART"

A municipal sociocultural complex formed by the renovation of an existing farmhouse as a civic community centre, with a multipurpose room (1000 standing spectators) and annexed spaces for music rehearsals, a library, a senior social club, a children’s play centre and a bar and toilets. The new building is situated around the farmhouse, creating a central space that collects and gives continuity to all the walkways that converge on it and consists of a volume developed from an integrated structure and a single enclosure system of large, precast concrete panels, situating the program sequentially along Pirineus Street under criteria of proximity to shared lobbies and services, or independent activities.
