REFORM AND EXTENSION IES PLA DE L'ESTANY

It is reformed the existing building for the necessity of introducing a new program of the high school. It is built a new communications hub, adapted to the existing classrooms and itineraries. The existing building is expanded at the back by introducing compositional and structural simplicity elongated volumes, with a single intersection point between them. In this way an horizontal draw as a background level, laying on the topography and an eave as a light focus, achieves a building totally integrated into the landscape.
